DJing end of summer
So someone’s coming to an end and the busy period for now is over for DJing the weddings are done and we have a bit of a lull before the Christmas party started we still work quite regulate during the months of September October but they are definitely quiet so what have we learned this summer well we’ve upgraded some of our equipment made things a little bit faster to set up which is always good it means we can bring better cost-effective parties to people it means we’re not working so hard on the night which is much better as my aging bones tend to suffer a little bit on a Sunday morning if I’ve been DJ or Saturday night.
Parties Slow Down but we don’t
So now is the time to re-evaluate the equipment we’re using why we’re a little bit quieter set up some of the new lighting rigs that we have which takes a little bit of time because we synchronize them with the music a lot of the time which means a bit of computer programming with our software it’s also time to evaluate the music that we’re carrying we carry around 100,000 songs on our digital consoles but there’s always literal issues recently I’ve noticed some of the tracks of degraded or maybe weren’t good enough in the first place in an audio quality standpoint so they’re going to have to be found and deleted and replaced with a better quality version
Getting Techie
We spend a lot of time when we’re not at parties tweaking our equipment whether it’s spraying some of the metal work to make sure it looks good or programming the consoles to make sure they are as we need them to be or even going out to invest in new equipment so we can bring a better party to our customers there’s always something to do when you’re a mobile DJ always lots of maintenance and inquiries never stopped from customers so now we even know we have bookings over the Christmas period we are expecting a lot more in the next 60 days as people plan their Christmas festivities and he’s only September.
